As a teacher, I strive to make meaningful connections with students in an attempt to challenge and inspire intellectual growth.  Several of my engagement strategies incorporate student participation and guided instruction that allow substantial opportunity for self-discovery. I am sensitive that my students have many learning styles, and I incorporate a variety of methods to best meet the needs of a given classroom dynamic. 

My teaching interests include music composition, digital technologies, music theory, music history, and commercial music. 

Currently, I am an Assistant Professor and Coordinator of Music Technology and Production at Oregon State University.
